WHY PROFESSIONAL DISINFECTING
Carpet Tech’s professional disinfecting:
- EPA Approved
- Dries in as little as 30 minutes
- Fast and Effective
- Safe for pets, children, and eating areas
- Affordable
As certified disinfecting experts, Carpet Tech uses only EPA-approved chemicals and processes for the virus. Our Prokure1 chemical leaves no residue and is a registered disinfectant on the EPA N list.
Electrostatic Spray
Carpet Tech uses an electrostatic sprayer to apply a positive charge to our liquid disinfectant as it passes through the nozzle. This generates charged droplets that stick to and even wrap around all surfaces to coat all sides. This includes hard surfaces and soft ones, like sofas and curtains. That means Carpet Tech’s disinfecting covers up to 3x more of the surface than wiping down by hand. What will take your hours to disinfect, takes us minutes. Our touch-free process saves time and effectively kills germs and viruses, including COVID.
Carpet Tech can disinfect both preventatively and in the case of exposure to illness, including COVID.
Anti-Microbial Shield - 90-Day Protection from Germs and Viruses
While disinfectants kill or inactivate germs on a surface, it doesn't last. As soon as that surface is touched, it can be recontaminated. Carpet Tech's new CT Shield is a chemical process that coats surfaces with a protective barrier to prevent the growth of microbes.
Carpet Tech's CT Shield coats surfaces with a protective barrier to prevent the growth of microbes, protecting your facility up to 90 days after disinfection.
- EPA spray-on antimicrobial protectant*
- Creates a microbiostatic coating on surfaces
- Inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, fungi, mold, and mildew
Our EPA approved spray-on protectant creates a micro biostatic coating on surfaces to inhibit the growth of microbes, protecting your home and facility long after initial disinfection is complete. There is so much we still don't know about viruses and infectious diseases, that’s why shielding surfaces after disinfection can offer added peace of mind.
ATP Testing - Measuring Home Cleanliness
Gauging cleanliness is too often subjective and based on unscientific methods. Just because a surface looks clean, doesn’t mean it is. Bacteria, viruses, molds, and other harmful pathogens are invisible to the naked eye. Using appropriate cleaning and disinfecting methods, paired with an efficient way of measuring cleanliness, ensures effectiveness and peace of mind. Carpet Tech’s ATP testing allows you to prove the cleanliness of your facility and reassure both employees and customers that it’s safe to do business with you.
What is ATP Testing?
ATP stands for Adenosine Triphosphate, an energy molecule that is present in all living cells. Using an ATP Monitor, Carpet Tech can swab a high touch surface area before we disinfect to measure the amount of ATP, or living microbes on a surface. The less ATP, the less contaminants, and the cleaner the surface is.
Read Full ATP Monitoring Protocols Here
ATP Monitoring can be useful in any facility to reduce illness and contagion and to develop a clean standard for facilities as part of a larger disinfecting protocol. It is important to measure the cleanliness of any facility, to ensure that it is being cleaned properly, and to keep the building healthy and safe for all who enter it.
