TOP FAQ's:
Carpet Tech has invested in a fleet of truck-mounted equipment to ensure our processes and methods give you the best results. This allows the hot water we use to reach over 220 degrees, disinfecting without the use of soaps & chemicals that could leave a residue on your carpet, giving you that sticky or crunchy feeling. We do have individual treatments if needed but there is always the clean rinse after.
The carpet will be damp when we are finished cleaning. You can walk on it after we are done, but we generally recommend trying to stay off of the carpet as much as possible. If you must walk on it, please take off shoes and socks until it is completely dry. It usually takes about 4-6 hours depending on the humidity that day. You can also open windows and turn on fans to help with the dry time.
We recommend doing some light vacuuming and picking up any small items on the floor before Carpet Tech arrives. Additionally, moving small tables or lamps and getting the rooms as picked up as possible, helps as well so that the home is ready to be cleaned as soon the technician arrives. If you do want us to clean under or behind large furniture, we can move it for a nominal fee.
